How To Write Effective Google Ads

You can significantly enhance the quality of your  Google Ads  by adding value to them. The most effective way of achieving this is by writing ads that are beneficial to the users but do not come out as pushy. By watching this video, you can learn more about how to write effective google ads to appeal to your target customers: Writing Genuine and Compelling Google Ads To ensure your ads meet the standard of modern marketing, you need to follow a few unwritten rules. These rules are what you can use to transform your ads from just any other Google ads to ads that will actually get clicked! The first rule is to create messages that focus on the user’s needs. People react more positively to things that seem to show concern about their predicaments. You should know the important things to users and ensure they are in the ads. A second helpful rule is to use a call to action that is more relatable and specific. You should avoid using outdated generic language such as “call us ...

Responsive Search Ads Best Practices

In today's session I'm going to cover Google ads, responsive search ads, how to make them, what they are, why you should use them, and how it can make your CTR, your conversion rate, your cost per click, and your cost per acquisition go in the right direction. So, we have covered lots of various ads in the past, but what I'll do is I'm going to go into the interface. Now, those of you who have been in these sessions before, you know, that I don't normally tend to write as directly in the interface, I tend to use a Google sheet or an Excel spreadsheet. Whichever one you're happy with, write your ads in there, but for the responsive search ads I come in here and it is for a reason. So, what I'm going to do is, go into our Google ads campaign setup and go into your ad group, and then you have the choice of either adding a text ad or a responsive search ad. Now, the reason why you see three boxes, you can add more as well if you like, but the Google best pr...

Google AdWords Ad Extensions

So, we have got Google Ads extensions, why you need to use them, why should you care about them, and why you ought to be using them... It's because it makes your ads a lot bigger. You hog even more real estate on Google at the top. Doesn't cost you anything additional or extra. You can cram in more of your messaging, products, services, or anything you want to put up on Google. So, why wouldn't you use it? You know, it doesn't cost you anything extra. It's just that sometimes people don't know how to use them. Can't be bothered. They are a bit lazy because it does take a little bit of time to set them up. But once they're set up, you don't need to touch them. They'll just keep on running. As long as Google thinks it is relevant to that search term which somebody is putting up and it's going to enhance the user experience. So, in this case, I put in let's say iPhone 11, you got these site links, see now how big this ad is compared to ...

Grow Your Business: Attract, Engage, Delight

So, today I'm going to continue with the final part of the presentation on the Flywheel methodology, and that is the attract, engage, delight phase of this wheel. So, here we go. We're going to look at these all in more detail. So, just to summarise previously we looked at strangers, leading into prospects, becoming customers, and hopefully becoming your promoters and I think I touched on this last week that if you can apply some forces to each of those four areas, you may indeed have different people, different customers at different parts of that process, but that will become a ball of energy, a flywheel of energy that can dissipate within your business and really help to grow your business. Ultimately, the center of that flywheel. My favorite probably is promoters because we're going to talk about that today, the journey of the attract, engage, delight cycle because if you do this process, well, it becomes almost your habit and you will find that your best customers wil...

How to Write Google Ads That Convert Ads

Today, I'm going to be doing a practical exercise where we sent out an email earlier on, and also put it out on our social media, that if you would like me to write any ads for you, then please send me your website URL and I'll write some ads for you. So, we had Luca Mura from Italy in Sardinia, a beautiful place. He sent me his website, so I'm going to use this one and we're going to write some ads... So, the first thing I do is... Obviously, I mean, this is not to critique somebody's website. I'm just going to have a look at it and see what's in front of me and I'm going to try and write a couple of ads. So, we're going to write expanded text ads. So nice and clean-looking website and beautiful images. You got a call to action over here to check-in, a beautiful photograph, a lovely B&B you have Luca, and then more photos, some text. So, these are the USPs they have, which I can potentially use in the ads and some over here, the service...

How to Set Up Automated Rules

So, today I'm going to talk about something on automation, where we can create automated rules in Google Ads. So, it does all the heavy lifting for you, and you don't need to worry about doing all the manual and the trivial tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. So, things which you might forget to do to switch something off which is not working or it's getting more expensive, you need to bring the bids down or increase the bids on a keyword, which are performing very well. So, lots of cool stuff, which you can do with automated rules, and very few people know that it literally exists in Google Ads. So, I'm going to show you how to set it up. Google Ad Groups Best Practices

So, this is how your account is structured. You can either work from the top, which I would recommend, because first of all, you're going to make the campaign. Then the ad group, then the keywords, and in fact, what I should have done, I'll make some room in a bit... So, you've got ad groups one, two, three, you can have as many as you like. Where is my iPad?! Okay. I'm not sure what's the maximum number of ad groups you can have in a campaign. I think it's about 10,000 or something like that. I'll never run out of ad groups in a campaign now, apologise for all these messages popping up. This is my little one's game, which she has set up somewhere in the background and it is pinging away! All right, then you have under ad groups, you have your keywords and you can also have your negative keywords as well. At the group level, you can also have your extensions. You can have, what else am I missing? So, I just want to go through the basics. You know, I...

Google Ads Jargon Buster

So, this is where you will end up when you start your account, as you can see, there are no live campaigns over here, but we don't need to worry about having any campaigns live. First of all, we need to go through what are all of these columns, which ones are important, which ones are not so important and which ones are the most important, which you must look at because this is kind of like a cockpit of a jumbo jet plane. You got so many bells and whistles. You will get confused very easily. So, I'm going to simplify this and then also explain what each one of these metrics means and why should you bother with these. Now, what you want to do is, first of all, when you come in here and you don't see any columns and then you might think that my dashboard is different from somebody else's. No, because you can show the column or you can hide these columns. All you need to do, first of all, go into these, columns and you can see that you can make different column sets. I ha...
