How To Create A Video Ad Script (A Practical Guide)

In this practical guide, we will show you how to create a video ad script that will grab your audience's attention and drive conversions. It's not just about picking up a camera or a phone and starting shooting; you need to have a story, a hook, and a call to action. We'll break down the video ad script into three essential parts: the hook, the story, and the call to action. The first few seconds of your video are crucial since you are interrupting somebody's viewing pattern. You need to point out a pain point, showcase yourself as an expert in your niche, and provide a solution that can help your audience. We'll provide you with some examples of hooks that work and explain how you can establish your authority by showcasing your qualifications and certifications. You'll learn how to poke at the problem and keep the viewer engaged until you make the offer and the call to action. We'll also discuss the ideal length of a video ad and how to keep it con...

What Are The Benefits Of YouTube Ads

So today, I've got a very interesting topic that I'm going to go through - YouTube ads. YouTube ads are where Facebook ads were about eight to ten years ago. They were very new, not many people were doing it, and those who were running Facebook ads found them pretty cheap to run, and highly converting, and the same is the case with YouTube ads. We use a lot of YouTube ads in our marketing and advertising. Last year, we spent over $100,000 on our own agency campaigns, generating over 10,000 leads for ourselves. 80% of our budget is allocated to YouTube. Obviously, this is organic video marketing where we upload content on a regular basis - we upload two videos every weekday, and we have been doing this for quite a while. Now, we rank very well on Google and YouTube, generating more leads and sales. So, why should you get started with YouTube? Why not just run a traditional search or display campaign if you know how to run them? Most accounts I see just run search ads - four...

Performance Max For Lead Generation

Will you recommend using PMax for service-based businesses? Yes, absolutely. We use it for ourselves as a service-based business, and whether it's eCommerce or lead gen, Performance Max will work quite well. However, you need to allocate a reasonable budget and give it ample time. Don't expect miracles within a matter of days or weeks. My dear friends at Solutions 8, Kasim, and John always say that you need at least six to seven weeks to get some data to make informed decisions about what's happening and what's not happening. And with a sizable budget, I believe (but don't quote me on this) that the more you invest, the better the results will be. Because there are so many different channels, it's best to run with a budget of around $100 per day and see what happens. Where Can You Find A Good Media Buyer?

Where can I find a good media buyer? Thank you for being a subscriber. If you are looking to hire someone, you should consider searching on Facebook Groups or Upwork. Start by giving them a small job, such as a part-time or temporary position, to see how good they are. You may have to try out a few different people before finding the right fit. Remember, you may need to kiss a few frogs before finding your prince. If you enjoyed this blog, you may also like: Why Are Your Google Ads Not Showing? Is Google Ads A Waste Of Money? What Is The Best Bid Strategy For Google Ads?

What is the best bidding strategy for local businesses targeting only a 10-mile radius?" Again, bidding has no relevance to locations. Bidding is simply what you're willing to pay for a lead or how much you're willing to earn as a return on ad spend. So don't confuse yourself with what the best bidding strategy is, as bidding is just a tool. Max clicks, Maximize conversions, CPV, CPM, and all these are just the metrics you're bidding on. What you want to do is to be very creative with your offers for that local business. The hook. Why should they come to you, and why should they buy from you? That's what you want to think about. You need to think about building up that brand. So I would say the best strategy for a local business is to run your ads everywhere, on every platform: search, display, video, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, wherever you can go because it's a very small radius of just 10 miles. So the search network will ...

What Are Some Tips For Optimizing eCommerce For Black Friday?

What are your tips for optimizing eCommerce for Black Friday, both before and during the event? Well, during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which together constitute a four-day window, there isn't much you can do. The key is to ensure that all your building blocks are in place well before the event. One of my close friends, Scott Cunningham from @MerchantMastery is particularly adept at this, and he recommends having everything ready by no later than the 1st of October. From there, you can start building up your remarketing audiences. The strategy he employs, and that I also endorse, is to run campaigns for cold audiences in October and November or the middle of November, and then switch to a larger audience in the middle of November. The reason for this is that you need to have an audience in order to effectively remarket your products or services. Once you have built your audience, you can then focus aggressively on remarketing campaigns during the holiday season. While...

How Will The Growth Of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Impact Marketers In The Future?

Will the growth of artificial intelligence affect marketers in the future? That's a great and interesting question. Thank you. Chathresh, it's kind of like looking at the first iPhone. I remember it since I'm old enough. Some of you may not be that old, but when the first version of the iPhone came out, we were blown away. "Oh my God, there are no buttons on it! It's all touch screen and has apps in it!" I can't remember if it had a camera or not. I think it was the second or the third iPhone that had a camera, but it was completely different. However, now we're on iPhone 14, and when we look back at the first one, it's like it didn't do anything. It didn't have much memory, processing power, or speed, and the battery life wasn't long enough. It died after every few hours or whatever. This is just the beginning of AI and machine learning, and compared to a few months ago, campaigns on smart bidding are performing a lot better than they...

Should We Use Manual CPC Or Automated Bidding For A New Local Dentist

I only have a $20 per day budget for a brand new local dentist and am targeting a 15-mile radius. Can I use manual CPC or choose automated bidding? You said 15 miles is a long way away, but for dental clinics, I would recommend no more than 5 miles. In a big city, it's like a 40-50 minute, 1-hour drive, so not many people would go unless you have something that those people can’t get anywhere else. If you do have such a unique offering, then definitely run it. The budget does not impact the bidding, but you will have a problem if your CPC is high. So, let's say you are bidding on something and your cost per click is around $10-$15, but your budget is only $20. You will only get one click a day, and after 30 days, you will hardly see any movement in the account. Your client will then get frustrated and say, 'I'm spending all this money, and I'm not getting much from it.' Therefore, you need to educate the client and manage their expectations. We need at leas...

Google Ads For Taxi Company

I have a taxi company and I want to be found. Okay, so taxi companies have got a big problem because of Uber. So I travel a fair bit locally as well as internationally. Even when I'm traveling to Dubai or US. I can't remember the last time I used a taxi company because I use Uber and it's on my phone all the time. I just called the cab and it's there. If you are a cab company, what I would recommend you do is run the airport transfer campaigns, which we have done for a lot of cab companies, because your value is much higher and they are more profitable than local cab runs, which could be like $5 or $10. Because by the time you pay that acquisition cost for that call, it's very difficult to make these campaigns profitable. So Airport transfers are one or any corporate accounts which you want to go after because, with corporate companies, the receptionist is always calling the same cap company because you have an account with them and then you bill them at the en...

Will Campaigns Compete With Each Other If They Copy And Duplicate The Campaign?

Will campaigns compete with each other if copy and duplicate the campaign? Well, only one will go through into the auction, whichever is more competitive. I have an impression share bid strategy in this campaign, but I want to see how it works with Max conversions. So we never run on an impression share bid strategy because most of our campaigns are to generate leads or to drive or generate sales. So there are very few occasions we would run. I can't remember the last time we run an impression share bid strategy. What Will Be The Average Budget Per Month For Local Businesses?

What will be the average budget per month for local businesses? For example, dentists. There is no average budget in a big city like New York, or London. Those click costs are going to be expensive compared to a little, not a village, but a town or a smaller area. So I can't give you an average budget. And also how many people are searching for those keywords and how many leads the dentist needs. Some dentists are happy with a handful because their implants are of higher value and they’re happy with what they earn. But some big dental clinics and practices want a lot of leads, so it's impossible to give you a number as to what the budget should be for a local dentist. Google Ads For Local Business

Will ads for local businesses be saturated in the long run? Since they’re only a small amount of audience for local businesses. You may be right, but local business ads will never die because there will always be a need and a niche, and people will always be looking for their local plumber, dentist, chiropractor, car rental, restaurant, and all these people. So local ads will continue to run, but they will evolve, just like the Internet does, just like Google Ads does, so it will evolve. How To Manage Client Expectations

I'm failing to manage the expectations of clients. My client is expecting far from reality from Google Ads. Do you have any tips to manage client expectations? Great question and I'm glad you asked. It is how you speak with the client and you’ve got to be confident in your own ability. Right? If I see that this account is going to be a headache or this client is going to be a headache, we then don't take them on. In the beginning, yes, we've taken in all sorts of clients and we picked up the wrong clients as well. Everybody does. Right? from experience, you will know. So the first thing to do is to audit and you have a questionnaire. Ask your clients a series of questions that will determine whether you take on that client or not. And if you find the client has answered your questions the wrong way, then that's a red flag, Right? Managing that. I just had a call earlier today and I told the client, look, you don't have any data in the account. You need at least...

What Is The Best Way To Run Identical Campaigns With Different Bid Strategies?

Okay, I want to ask if I want to run identical campaigns with different bid strategies, what is the best way to implement this? How much can I increase the budget per day? Because splitting requires more euros, there's no hard and fast rule as to how much you can split it. It depends on your budget, first of all. So all you would do is copy your main campaign and paste it. So you've got two campaigns now. Everything is the same, except, let's say you are running target CPA for $10, as in your main campaign. What you can do is in the second campaign, you want to test it at $15 or $20, or $25. Just change the target CPA and then allocate the budget for that CPA. Now, I would highly recommend that you do three times the budget of your bid. So if your bid is $15, make that minimum budget $45, some say times it by five. Three I think, I believe it's a good number because we always run it at 3x the target CPA and it works fine. If you find it again in your niche, it'...

How To Setup Audio Ads In Google Ads

When you go into your Google Ads account and you're at the campaign level, you can click the Create campaign, new campaign. And what most people do is they'll either go on sales or leads or website traffic. What we want to do is to go in over here, which will bring you to this section, and then where does it disappear? Under video. All right, so this is what the main difference is when you have no goals or no campaign objective. I just want to cancel this and go back again to show you the difference. All right, new campaign. If I were to go into, let's say, leads, I get the conversion, and goal set up, and then if I were to go into video, it will take me over here, which is the general settings, and then you set up the budget, locations and all the usual stuff. Right? If you select a campaign type, you will I don't know why, but Google has done this the way it is. So we need to ask somebody at Google why you don't give that option when we go to create a campaig...
