Learn Google Ads: How To Add Forms To A Landing Page Using Unbounce

So if you want to build from the background, you need to have some kind of an idea as to what you want to do. I'm going to color this light grey or whatever color you like. Then I'm going to drag a little form on there, then you have got all of your custom fields or your predefined, I want to do first name and email, this is a required field so I check that box. I can make it optional or required, both of them are fine.  Make it a little bit wider and I can also make that form a bit nice and to the width of the field so it looks neat and clean. I can then change the button color to whatever you want. If you want green, you can put in green, if you want to change the text buttons or let's say, get started. Now, I want a little headline over here, I'll drag the text box, the font is too big so I'll change that, it is fairly easy and straightforward, this is what I love about Unbounce, it is simple to use…unbounce has got a lot of images and royalty-free images i...

Learn Google Ads: Setting Up A YouTube Campaign

In today's YouTube live I'm going to be setting up a YouTube campaign for a video ad campaign. It's fairly straightforward and easy to set up, doesn't take a lot of time, usually about 15 minutes or so... Now whether it's ahead video or you may have shot a video using your smartphone or it could have been an animated video... It could be any kind of video that you can use as a video ad, but why would you want to use video as an ad? I just want to give a very quick and brief introduction as to how I got started with video ads, which was about two years ago. Well in fact a lot earlier, but two years ago I became pretty serious about video as a marketing channel and I started putting up videos on my YouTube channel. After that, lots of our clients wanted to get started as well and we've been running campaigns for them as well. Video is one of the best ways to build trust. People buy from people, that's the bottom line. How do you build trust in automatio...

Google Ads Tips: Screen Resolution For YouTube Videos

What is the best screen resolution and ratio for YouTube videos? 16:9 is the normal ratio. But you can upload, I upload vertical as well as horizontal because on the mobile, when you click on that vertical video, it literally fills up the whole screen and it looks really, really good. So we make two versions and we upload both of them. And YouTube allows you to do that even though it's the same video. They never said it's duplicate content. The best resolution, well 1080p, I mean, you can go higher. I think that’s overkill for what we are doing. We're not creating a Hollywood blockbuster! Google Ads Tips: Comparing Google Ads To Other PPC Ads For Success

‘How do LinkedIn ads compare to Google Ads and Facebook ads?’ They're completely different! I would say when you have a problem and you need a solution, you will go to Google. You will not go to LinkedIn, you will not go to Facebook. So Google is where the intent is. The search is where LinkedIn is different. You can target companies, you can target professionals by job titles. So if I want to target all the marketing directors in a location or worldwide, I can run ads on LinkedIn and target those people. If I want to target all the employees of a company where they are working, I can do that. So LinkedIn has got some amazing features which you can do on Google or Facebook and the same thing. Facebook has got some features, amazing targeting, which you can't do on LinkedIn or Google ads. This is what I said earlier on, you've got to be in all these places because your targeting is different and then you can see which one is performing the best. But don't stop ru...

Learn Google Ads: Setting Up Multiple Smart Campaigns - Fast

Now, you go next, you come across to create the first ad so you can put in headline one. That's 30 out of 30. That's good! ...I'm just writing to fill up the form to fill up these fields. What you want to do is to obviously put in a little bit of a thought process, make your headlines very attractive and eye-catching so that you get the click and put in the benefits and the features as well as the call to action, which is called now and I'll just copy and paste this for the sake of it, and now I can see what my ad preview looks like over here and then if I click on there, it will give me more of these previews, how it's going to look on the computer, on your mobile and Google Maps. That is what's really good about these ads. If you are a local plumber, dentist, chiropractor, or any other kind of local business, you need to absolutely run with these ads, put in a little budget and see how it performs, and you will also run on Google partner sites, which are...

Learn Google Ads: Smart Campaigns: Search Terms & Suggestions

This is the critical thing where you need to select suggestions or search terms. I won't call the search terms. It suggests that Google is telling me what my business is all about so I can see that marketing consultant, online marketing, digital marketing, and so on. If I don't see any suggestions in here, you can click over here and add... I'm going to take these out because I don't want to run a very generic campaign where I've got social media marketing, Google ads, email marketing, web design - what else have we got? Web development. I want to keep it extremely tight. So I'm going to put in Google Ads and see what it gives me. I've got your Google Mobile Ads, Google Retargeting, Google PPC. So these are extremely relevant to me. Ads, mobile ads, remarketing is good and you can select and then I can put in Ad Words. Google. See, now it's giving me very relevant suggestions as I put in the Google app. If you do app ads, you need to put in about...

Google Ads Tip: Target ROAS (Return On Ad Spend)

Now we go to TROAS. Target ROAS is Return On Ad Spend. How much are you getting back on your ad spend? If you're giving $1 to Google, how much are you getting back? Are you getting back 10 cents or are you getting $10 if you are getting less than $1, that means you are making a loss? If you are getting four times or five times or whatever industry, depending on what you're selling, then obviously you will be making a profit. Now the way to see this number is it is not called TROAS in the columns. It is called conversion value over cost. So let's say your conversion value is $1,000 you earn from your new leads or new customers, and then you divide that by let's say a hundred, which is your Google ad spend, that equals to $10. What you are doing is, you've got a ROAS of 10. Every time you give $1 to Google, you are getting 10 back. So that's a profitable campaign. If after you've taken out your cost of goods and taking that into account. So whether...

Google Ads Tip: Maximize Clicks

Maximize clicks is really good when you don't have any data or when you're starting from zero. What you want to do is to get clicks on your ads so that you start driving traffic to your website, so that you can see what's happening and what's not happening. Because if you're not getting any traffic, then you will not know where the problem is, whether it's the campaign targeting, the keywords, the ads, the landing page, or the website or actually the offer or the product. But once you start to drive traffic, you will see what's happening and what's not happening. The good thing with maximizing clicks is you will start to... I'm not saying that you start to get results very soon, but you will start to see a lot of activity because Google is going to get you the maximum number of clicks for your budget and that is the key. You don't need to worry about bidding and keyword management, it will automate and it's going to get you the clicks, ...

Google Ads Tips: Setting Up A Campaign For Success

Can I expect my Google Ads campaign to be successful overnight? Yes and no. Most probably no, not! If that was the case, the whole world will be running ads on Google, and every campaign will be profitable! It used to be the case many years ago when it was fairly new and whatever you put up, you started to get traffic, and because there was so little competition your campaigns would start to perform. Right now there’s so much competition and choices for the consumer that they will look at various options before they decide to convert. And that’s where you need to be very aggressive in your bidding, you need to be very aggressive in your marketing, you need to be at every touchpoint. So for example, I’m doing a YouTube Live right now putting myself out there. In about 45 minutes’ time, I will be going Live on Instagram. So I am putting myself out on that channel and platform for that audience. So you need to do the same thing. If you have got a great strategy to re...
