Why Google Ads Call-Only Ads Are Getting Clicks But No Calls?

Are you wondering why you are only getting clicks but no calls on your Google Ads? Then, the critical area where you want to look is your IP. It has a link with the IP since there can be a lot of clicks coming at your ads from one single IP or even multiple IPs as well. So, the best thing to do is exclude them the same way you do for your negative keywords. Google will block all such IPs that are clicking many times on your Google Ads. What Else Can You Do? Another thing that you can do apart from blocking the IP is that you can also alter the message on the ad. It is because people might be clicking on your ads but not calling you since it is a two-step process. Upon the first click, Google will charge, after which it will prompt up the phone dialer. That is when the user needs to click on the button to make a call. Therefore, if you change the text of the ad, there is a slight possibility that they might call you, but it is not a guaranteed solution. The optimal...

Google AdWords Ad Extensions

So, we have got Google Ads extensions, why you need to use them, why should you care about them, and why you ought to be using them... It's because it makes your ads a lot bigger. You hog even more real estate on Google at the top. Doesn't cost you anything additional or extra. You can cram in more of your messaging, products, services, or anything you want to put up on Google. So, why wouldn't you use it? You know, it doesn't cost you anything extra. It's just that sometimes people don't know how to use them. Can't be bothered. They are a bit lazy because it does take a little bit of time to set them up. But once they're set up, you don't need to touch them. They'll just keep on running. As long as Google thinks it is relevant to that search term which somebody is putting up and it's going to enhance the user experience. So, in this case, I put in let's say iPhone 11, you got these site links, see now how big this ad is compared to ...

How to Write Google Ads That Convert Ads

Today, I'm going to be doing a practical exercise where we sent out an email earlier on, and also put it out on our social media, that if you would like me to write any ads for you, then please send me your website URL and I'll write some ads for you. So, we had Luca Mura from Italy in Sardinia, a beautiful place. He sent me his website, so I'm going to use this one and we're going to write some ads... So, the first thing I do is... Obviously, I mean, this is not to critique somebody's website. I'm just going to have a look at it and see what's in front of me and I'm going to try and write a couple of ads. So, we're going to write expanded text ads. So nice and clean-looking website and beautiful images. You got a call to action over here to check-in, a beautiful photograph, a lovely B&B you have Luca, and then more photos, some text. So, these are the USPs they have, which I can potentially use in the ads and some over here, the service...

Inbound Marketing Strategy

Without further ado let's get started and today, I'm going to be covering inbound marketing and looking at the flywheel methodology and how you can implement it... Before I get into the topic itself, the week never stops at SF Digital! We just wanted to share some of our wins. So, to summarize, our content management calendar is finally fully working. It's been a number of weeks of hard work. Just that we have a lot of content out on the day and that's taken a ... We're really pleased. Thanks again to all my team ... Also our internal systems, we're actually creating all our videos and sub videos that are from ... masters like today, that's also complete. Complete as much as anything ever is! No such thing as perfection! [...] There will still be tweaks. I know that for sure but in essence, we are done. So, we are pleased! The third win is that we've recruited a social media manager in recent days. She's doing amazingly well and has already helped ...

Flywheel Marketing Model

So, back to the topic in hand, why are we doing all of this? Why are we putting out so much content, creating our audiences, engaging with you on a daily basis? It's really quite simple. We are looking to engage with our audience and look at how we are going to build with our future clients. How are we going to give out meaningful content that they are finding useful to get them to get to know us, get to like us, get to trust us because if we can follow that process through that's when we're going to start and win. Now, just a quick recap. Last week, I looked at the flywheel method or flywheel model on how to grow your business and we had a touchpoint on the efficiency of a flywheel and some of the things that might hinder the effectiveness of your flywheel model. It could be the size, speed, it could be friction. We're not going to spend too much time on that today because I'd like to take a deeper look into how we apply some forces to our business and those f...

Google Ads Tutorial: Types Of Google Ads

The first one which I would always start with is obviously the search campaign and then remarketing and the brand. If you’ve got a big brand, you've got a fair amount of searches, which is being searched for in Google Ads or on Google, then you must run the brand. This is where, myself including, and lots of other people who I know are in the agency space discussions, arguments, and debates - "Why should I pay for my brand? Why should I pay for that click when we are getting number  one ranked in organic rankings." My reply to that is if your competitors are bidding on your brand... Now anybody can bid on anybody's brand but if someone has got a trademark on it, you cannot use that trademark in your ad copy, but you can certainly bid on it. Potentially your customer can take the top spot at the top on Google and you will be below. First, the four ads will come in. If other competitors are also bidding on your brand, Google maps, and then your organic ranking so y...

Landing Page Optimization Tips

Today is all about landing page optimization. Very few advertisers and business owners pay a lot of attention to it because they don't think (that) the landing page is going to have a major impact on the advertising campaign. The whole focus of their online marketing or advertising isn't either on Google Ads or Facebook ads or any kind of ads which they are running and they will try and optimize that if that's what they are trying to do. Most campaigns that I see are just set up and forgotten and let it run and these campaigns will not give you any performance or results.  I found that landing pages, one of the last, or the last place where anyone is paying any attention, and that needs to be rectified because if you are not getting any results it could be one of the reasons why you are not getting any conversions.  You'll find on Google and all over the internet that increasing the page load speed increases or reducing, I should say, the page load speed will i...

Google Ads Tutorial: How To Write Great Ads

Today I'm going to be talking about how to write a great Google Ads ad so when someone sees your ad, they get interested, it gets their attention and hopefully, you get the click.  Okay, let's write some ads. If you want me to write an ad for you then put a website address or a landing page in the chatbox. Now I'm going to go to that website and then I'll write some ads. If not, then I'm going to pick up a random topic and write some ads. I'll go to all the comments afterward. In fact, there are one or two very interesting ones. Okay, so first of all, what I do is I don't write ads directly in the Google interface because I just can't get my mind working in that interface. You got to write it very quickly and then save it. If you don't save it or forget to save it, or something happens on the internet, the internet gets disconnected. You lose the work. What I tend to do is to write the ads in a spreadsheet, and then I take it from here, copy...
