Today I've got a very interesting little session on how to get started with video marketing by creating 15-second videos using your smartphone. So, what you're going to do is be able to obviously shoot the video on your smartphone. You don't need to do any editing, but you can add a few things to it with regards to putting up a bit of music, some emojis, icons, and some graphics on it and uploading it to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or wherever you wish to upload.
What you want to do is create a little schedule or a list of videos that you want to shoot, and then you can shoot them literally, within a matter of minutes, you don't need hours on end. And if you don't have 15 seconds to promote and market your business, then you shouldn't be in your business right now! And the other thing is right now, obviously, you can't promote your business by going to meetings or networking. The only way out is through online marketing, and video is where you can put your face, your message, and your voice online.
All right. So what I'm going to do is first of all show you what I'm talking about. Now, these are what we call ‘stories’ on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook. I believe Twitter also does it, but I'm not sure, all you do is create these vertical videos by shooting.
Now you see this is my logo on here. If I click on it or anyone clicks on it, it will take them straight to my channel. That is the clickable link on here, that is really, really cool! You can also put in different links, you can put up a little video within a video. You can also put a link of some other video on this video and it's a clickable link. So here, the message I was giving is ‘join me, live on YouTube every weekday to see one of the sessions one of the session recordings click on this video’. Now, how cool is that? So you could also put a video link within the video without having to do any editing or anything like that…. So I'm starting to put my link on every video so they can go straight to my channel, whoever is watching it. So why wouldn't you do that?
