The main difference between Google Search Ads and Display Ads is that search ads “pull” you into the advertising whilst display ads “push” you to go see the ads. We suggest that you run Google Search Ads and Display Ads as two separate campaigns.
Google Search Ads
Google Search Ads is when somebody goes on Google and searches for something. Paid search advertising is one of the most popular forms and brands pay to have their ads displayed above and below organic search engine results using certain keywords in Google Ads.
Google search Ads have three different parts, a headline, display URL, and description text. All of these are designed to make customers click through to their website.
Google Display Ads
Google Display Ads are the advertisements that you see when you visit a website and they are displaying ads throughout the website. Display ads perform very differently from their paid search counterparts.
Google Display Ads aren’t limited to appearing in only one set location. They can pop up over multiple places on social media, news feeds and news websites, etc.
