Google Ads can show your ads to people outside of your target locations. Watch this video to know why that happens and how you can change it.
I’m running a search campaign for a local business. Google is showing ads to places other than the target locations? any way to stop them? Yes, they will. It will happen from time to time. All you do is keep adding them as negative placements or locations, I should say, and that will reduce that and get rid of it. So even so, let's say you're running in the US. The US has got about 50 or 51 states, so if you're running ads in just one state, at all the other 49 from day one as negative locations.
