I'm running Google Ads in a particular city. Now some people from other cities are searching for those ads and doing fake clicks on them. I've excluded all other cities. Still, I'm getting clicks from those cities. Is there any way that my ads won't be visible to any other city except my target city? Well, I mean, if your ads are showing through in other locations, they may not be fake clicks because somebody was searching for that keyword, your ad popped up and they clicked on it. So, first of all, it may not be, but it is relevant clicks for you because you don't offer your product or service in that location outside your local area where you want your ads to run.
In that case, I would put as excluded locations all the other areas or cities you don't want your ads to show through. Now you're saying that you have excluded all the other cities, but I'm still getting clicks from those cities. So if you have excluded and you're still seeing those clicks from outside of your location, get in touch with Google Support and show them, look, I've excluded these. Why are you showing ads to people outside my location? And if there is something where it is Google's fault, then you will probably get a refund. But you'll need to speak with Google about how your clicks are showing outside your location if you excluded these.
