Matt and Casey do loads of highly-produced, scripted video content, and they realized they’d missed out. After watching what we at SF Digital have done and developed, the guys at Gravity Digital were inspired to get their act in gear and start producing regular video content themselves.
Launch A YouTube Channel
Next, they started a YouTube channel. They had a YouTube channel but weren’t producing content regularly. They were simply putting their portfolio there. But now, they’re producing content on a very regular basis. And it’s been dynamic.
And they’ve enjoyed it because they do a lot of scripted work. They felt this pressure – that this regular unscripted stuff had to be a certain quality for them. And then, they decided to do something attainable – something they could do regularly.
How Much Video Content To Produce
Gravity Digital suggests producing about one a week, which is nothing like our kind of volume here at SF Digital, but one a week is where Matt and Casey are starting.
You could do things like the all-time funniest Super Bowl commercials, funny emails, or review commercials and things like that – just fun stuff.
We recommend you:
- Share videos on your social
- Send emails out
- Start getting traffic
Start Experiencing Huge Growth
Once you start doing YouTube videos, expect colossal growth. At SF Digital, our organic growth to our website from YouTube is incredible – we’re growing 25%, month-on-month.
Last September, we were getting about 25 to 30 clicks a day. Right now, we’re at about 150, and we’re aiming to hit at least 10,000 visitors in the next five months and then about 50,000. That’s our goal in 12 months.
Top Tip For Anyone Wanting To Do Video Marketing
Sometimes just starting video content is better than trying to get it perfect. “Accomplishing” is better than getting it perfect. And you’ll get better as you keep going along. It’s going to become more comfortable, and you’ll learn little things each week – it’ll get better and better. But you just have to start.
You’ll learn things slowly and gradually build things up – that’s the workflow, the team, and the systemization. Then once it’s all in place, you can put your feet up and just let things roll on.
